Mascara is an important make-up essential for people with thin and straight eye lashes. Mascara helps to accentuate your eye lashes by curling them and making them look intense. They add volume to eye lashes by making them look thick.

But what do you do when you’re in a tearing hurry and realize that you’ve run out of mascara? What if you realize your mascara dried up and you cannot do without it? What do you do when you’re low on budget and cannot afford to invest in mascara?

There is a solution to the above problems. Here’s a make-up hack using which you can curl your eye lashes without mascara, using liquid eye liner. Yes, you read that right; using a liquid eye liner. Read on to know how.

Procedure:

After your mascara dries up, retain the wand or spoolie that comes with the mascara.

Wash it with plain water so as to get rid of the dried mascara.

Make sure to clean off any lumps of mascara that might be stuck to the wand.

Pat it dry using cotton swab.

Make sure it is squeaky clean.

Note: In case you don’t have a mascara wand, you may utilize any spoolie brush that you may have.

Now take any liquid eye liner that you have.

Apply liquid eye liner evenly on the mascara’s spoolie or wand using the eye liner brush.

Rotate the wand while applying so that there is uniform application of eye liner liquid.

Now with the help of this wand, apply this applied eye liner to your eye lashes.

Voila! It’s done.

Here, eye liner doubles up as mascara. It would give the same thickening and curling effect as regular mascara would.

This make-up hack comes very handy as it is very easy to do and does not require any additional investment or expertise. You can make use of any liquid eye liner and you’re sorted. Do give this make-up trick a try when you’re running short of time or mascara!

However, if you’re not satisfied with the volume and want thicker eye lashes, there is another make-up trick that you can try.
