Non touring is the latest make-up technique that is trending. Even celebrities swear by it. It is the opposite of contouring.

Non-touring is meant to make skin look fresh, healthy and dewy. Non-touring is very hard to notice as it is very simple and makes use of minimal make-up products. It is almost like nude make-up.

How to do non-touring?

Non touring involves use of just three make-up products.

  • Primer
  • Tinted moisturizer or a BB cream
  • Highlighter

Step 1:

The first step involves the application of a primer. Choose a primer that is either dewy or luminous because we want the skin to look radiant and glowing.

Step 2:

The second step involves the application of either a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream.

The tinted moisturizer or BB cream will even out the skin tone and make it look flawless.

Select a tinted moisturizer or BB cream that is very close to your skin tone.

Do not use foundation as it is very heavy on the skin, which is not what non-touring is about.

You may use a concealer in case you have blemishes, dark spots or pigmentation. The idea is to make the skin look flawless and healthy.

Step 3:

The final step involves the application of highlighter. Highlighters in general are to be applied to areas that you would want to highlight. They are usually applied on areas that are hit by light like over the cheekbones, over the Cupid’s bow, on the bridge of nose and under outer the brow bone.

Choose a highlighter as per your skin tone. People with lighter skin tones should opt for highlighters with pink undertones, while the ones with dark complexion should go for golden or bronze highlighters.

Benefits of non-touring:

Non-touring is ideal for summers as it is a daylight friendly look. It is very soft and natural and is thereby not very apparent even in sunlight.

Rather, the combination of illuminating primer, tinted moisturizer/BB cream and highlighter will make the skin shine and look radiant when sun hits the skin.

Using a primer in the very beginning will ensure sweat control.

On and all, non-touring is ‘in’ this season. Do give it a try this summer.

Happy non-touring!
